Garden Reclaim

Supporting Wellbeing Through Outdoor Spaces.

Grassroots’ Garden Reclaim project transforms overgrown or neglected gardens into safe, usable spaces—improving wellbeing for people recovering from illness, social isolation, or hardship.

Our team, including adults with learning difficulties gain training and real-life work experience, helps residents regain access to their outdoor spaces—boosting confidence, mental health, and independence.

Reclaiming a garden can significantly improve physical and emotional health, reducing long-term strain on health and social care services.

For social prescribers or charities looking for assistance with their gardens- please contact us.

Restoration Donations

Giving Furniture a Second Life—and People a Fresh Start.

We restore donated home and garden furniture—with care, purpose, and community at the heart.

Adults with learning difficulties, supported by our team, gain hands-on experience in woodworking, painting, and upcycling—building life skills, confidence, and employability.

Once restored:

Some pieces are donated to families in need via our Garden Reclaim programme.

Others are sold to the public at low cost, with proceeds funding day trips, workshops, and social activities for our members.
